My experience in marketing and event roles in nonprofits expanded my donor-first mentality while continually improving internal processes and external-facing marketing. While at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis (BGCM) I was part of a three-person resource development team managing $7 million+ annually.
In my role as Special Events & Marketing Coordinator, I audited and enhanced event calendars and operations, created and deployed strategies for higher donor engagement, and aligned our branding with national guidelines.
To revitalize BGCM’s digital outreach efforts, I employed Meta Business Suite and Constant Contact, generating post calendars and curating content to amplify current programs and operations. Additionally, I revamped BGCM’s web presence via WordPress WP Bakery and kept 10k+ patrons informed through a monthly newsletter.

It’s that time of year again! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis’ 25th Tennis Invitational is quickly approaching and we partner with local businesses to put on our Silent Auction at Crosstown Concourse on Saturday, August 5th this year. We truly appreciated your in-kind donation last year and hope you will consider contributing again!
Just as a reminder of what the Boys & Girls Clubs do: we empower underserved youth in Memphis through four focus areas: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Career Readiness, and Good Character & Citizenship. This year we’ve served over 5,000 kids at 20 Club sites!
We would greatly appreciate an in-kind donation or gift certificate(s) to go towards our silent auction packages by July 21st. @bgcmemphis: At the Juice Plus+ Technical Training Center, we're seeing Club members earn certifications and learn new skills!
During this school year, we saw 85 students receive their OSHA certification. Amongst our logistics students, 8 high school seniors have received their driver's licenses to operate a propane forklift.
